ATTENTION UNITED STATES SHOPPERS: Due to the United States administration's suspension of the duty-free "de minimus" threshold for all countries, including Canada, all shipments entering the U.S. must have duties prepaid before crossing the border effective August 29, 2025. This change is mandated under U.S. Executive Order 14324 and applies to all shipments from Canada. The Executive Order requires that we, in Canada, charge a 35% tariff on all orders being shipped to the U.S. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to immediately suspend sales to the United States. This will remain in place until the situation regarding tariffs and the above noted Executive Order changes. Product Description

Two day workshop
Saturday, August 22 9am - 5pm and
Sunday, August 23 9am - finish

Kim is a skilled weaver in miniature and has taught many workshops here and aboard. (including at the Castine IGMA School of Miniatures) We welcome her to our workroom and are thrilled at this offering.

The main focus of this class will be weaving the pram and incorporating a woven diamond pattern into the front.

Using waxed linen thread, you will learn how to weave and shape the body of the pram. The umbrella is woven freeform in the round and shaped over a dome.

You will learn how to shape wire for the handle support, make tufted cushions for the inside of the pram and embellish the umbrella.
